Its commonly considered by businesses to install solar panels on their existing office complexes or new builds. It is a popular choice for the modern business for good reason. Solar panels have many positive aspects. For one they are environmentally friendly, drawing power from the sun instead of power from the grid. They also help the business with electricity bills, producing a good portion of electricity for the business, reducing running costs.

Another great feature is that in certain countries the government will pay owners of solar panels for surplus energy generated. What this means is that any electricity produced by the solar panels that is not used by the business is fed directly back to the grid. Energy companies keep track of the energy fed back and the government then sends a cheque the ‘received’ energy.  There are some businesses that take advantage of this subsidiary and specifically base their entire business model on producing electricity in this manner.
